I was impressed with this. It’s a self sustaining fish tank. It’s filled with little fish, which look like guppies, and plants and stuff, and the sign to the exhibit says that there’s no need to change the water or feed the fish, or fiddle with the tank in any way. The environment just looks after itself. I’ve seen small ones on sale — filled with only a plant and snail — but they don’t seem to last too long. Maybe the bigger they get, the easier it is to balance?

My axolotl tank is done. It will still change because live plants live and grow and die - so it won’t stay exactly the same forever.
But I’m quite happy with it.
